Deck Repair & Construction in Lexington, KY — Built to Last
Rotting boards, wobbly railings, structural repairs, and new deck builds — we handle all phases of deck work for homeowners and HOA communities throughout Central Kentucky.
What We Do
From a single rotting board to a full new deck build, we assess what your deck actually needs and give you a straight answer before any work begins.
Board Replacement
Soft, splintered, or rotting deck boards replaced individually or in sections. We match the profile where possible and make sure the underlying structure is solid before laying new material.
Railing Repair & Replacement
Wobbly posts, broken balusters, and railings that no longer meet code. We repair or replace and make sure everything is properly anchored — railings that move are a safety issue.
Structural Repairs
Rotting joists, beams, ledger boards, and posts. Structural decay is what makes decks dangerous — we identify it early and fix it before it becomes a full rebuild.
Stair Repair & Rebuilding
Deck stairs take more abuse than any other part. Loose stringers, rotting treads, and unstable handrails — we repair or rebuild to make them safe and solid.
New Deck Construction
Ground-up deck builds designed and built for Central Kentucky weather. We use pressure-treated lumber and proper flashing at the ledger so your deck holds up for years, not seasons.
Sealing & Staining
After repairs or on a sound existing deck, we clean and apply sealer or stain to protect the wood from Kentucky’s freeze-thaw cycles and summer heat.
Kentucky Weather is Hard on Decks
Central Kentucky’s climate puts decks through a lot — wet springs, hot summers, and freeze-thaw cycles through winter. Wood that isn’t properly maintained or built with the right materials deteriorates faster here than in drier climates.
The most common issue we see is ledger board rot — where the deck attaches to the house. When this is done without proper flashing, water gets behind it and rots both the ledger and the house’s rim joist. By the time you notice the deck moving, the damage has usually spread.
If your deck is more than a few years old and hasn’t been inspected, it’s worth having someone look at the structure before the next season of use. We’ll give you an honest assessment — if it’s fine, we’ll tell you.
Serving Homeowners & HOA Communities
We work with individual homeowners and with HOA property management companies who need deck repairs and inspections across multiple units.
For Homeowners
We assess the full deck, tell you what needs attention now versus what can wait, and give you a clear estimate before any work starts. No upselling repairs you don’t need.
For HOA & Property Management
Multi-unit deck inspections and repairs handled efficiently. We understand HOA approval processes and can document findings for your records and board reviews.
